The TENSEI 1K Pro Red is a high launch, mid-high spin driver shaft built on Mitsubishi’s premium 1K single-ply carbon fiber constructionengineered for players who need to add significant launch height without giving up handle stability. What makes the Pro Red distinctive is its unusual profile combination: an ultra-stiff handle section paired with a low kick point and a medium-stiffness tip. The stiff handle resists deflection for players with fast, aggressive transitions, while the low kick point activates the tip section of the shaft through the downswingproducing the high launch that the softer tip allows without the instability that usually comes with high-launch shafts. Best suited for swing speeds of 95 mph and above who need more carry height but have a fast or aggressive transition that softer, high-launch shafts can’t accommodate.
Compared to the TENSEI 1K Pro Blue (mid launch, mid spin, firmer mid section), the Pro Red pushes further into the high-launch zone through its lower kick point and more active tipmaking it the right choice for players who have tried the Blue and still need more carry height. Compared to the TENSEI AV Series Red (also high launch but with a softer handle and softer tip), the 1K Pro Red’s ultra-stiff butt section makes it significantly more stable through aggressive transitionsthe AV Red is the more accessible high-launch option, while the Pro Red suits faster players who demand more from their shaft.
